Training

Sunny was the dog that represented Israel for the first time at FCI Obedience Championship in the World Dog show 2002 in Amsterdam. He was just 1.5 years old, the youngest participant and the only Poodle.

Israel Training clubs are working mainly on Agility, Schutzhund and basic Obedience needed for these courses. Meanwhile none of them is preparing for interesting FCI Obedience competitions. Since we planned to show Sunny in the World Dog Show 2002 I decided to get the requirements, prepare the dog and take part in the competition. We never saw with the eyes the exact performance of the exercises and still managed to show nice work. Sunny as usual was shining with his charming joy, willingness and intelligence.

I hope one-day Israel will prepare and show a great team at FCI World or European Obedience Championship.
